Vision

We envision a world where people of all races can thrive and race is no longer a predictor of life outcomes. We envision people of color and white allies working in solidarity to achieve racial equity and social justice. We envision long-term structural change and equity for all.

Mission

Our mission is to advance racial equity through education and dialogue. We give individuals, communities, and organizations the tools and skills to promote equity through workshops, trainings, and coaching.

Framework & Core Values

Education. We believe that education is action. Education is resistance. Education is a pathway to liberation. Building a more just and equitable world starts with building the skills to take on race and racism. Drawing on a long tradition of activists and organizers like Septima Clark, we believe in education that inspires, engages, and sparks change.

Antiracism. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are not enough. We believe in putting race front and center and doing the work to dismantle racism. We know this work is difficult and change will not happen overnight. But we believe change is possible when we give people the tools and language to confront racism and show up as allies.

Structural Change. We are committed to advancing social justice and long-term change. We see our work as a means to build power, transform systems, and support movements for racial equity and justice. We also see our work through an intersectional lens and recognize that racism works hand in hand with other forms of oppression. Our struggles are not single-issue, so our solutions can’t be either.

Dialogue. We know talking about race can be messy and complicated. But we can’t fight racism if we’re not willing to talk about it. Talking openly about race gets us closer to building the awareness and shared understanding necessary for racial equity. For us, that means fostering conversations that are thoughtful, meaningful, and lead to concrete action.

Community. None of us can do this work alone. It’s when we come together that we can make an impact. Building community helps us move beyond individual change to collective action. We believe that by creating supportive and affirming spaces for all, we can create an ecosystem of people working toward a shared vision of racial equity and justice.
